IT Alerts: Fake Outlook Web Mail Page

UF users should be aware of several phishing email scam that attempts to convince unsuspecting recipients to follow a link to a non-UF web site.

The links take users to a web form that is a copy of UF’s Outlook Web Access login page. An example of the phishing message is available on the UF IT Alerts site. Do not click on the link in the email or visit the web site and never reply to an email with personal information such as your account username and password.

When in doubt, contact your department IT support or, in the case of UF email, call the UF Computing Helpdesk at 392-HELP to validate the message.
