Several months ago UF IT began offering a new cloud based email system, Office 365, for students. This replaces the aging Gatorlink WebMail system.
This new system provides students with a large email quota, an enhanced modern web interface, personal calendaring that is compatible with the on-premises UF Exchange, Lync integration, and more.
While all new students have been automatically enrolled in Office 365, existing students have had the opportunity to remain on the old WebMail system. However, WebMail will eventually be retired and to avoid problems when that day comes, we encourage graduate students to migrate to Office 365 now.
Students can migrate to Office 365 by going to https://migrate.mail.ufl.edu and clicking on the “Check your Eligibility” button.
