At the end of the Summer A 2015 this year, CLAS IT started a new project to update the inventory of all its computers and devices in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. We hired Ian Aranca as a new inventory specialist to go to every office and do just that.
We would like to remind those of you that use CLAS IT managed Windows Workstations to please reboot you workstation and log out at the end of each work week.
This fall, the UF Computing Help Desk expanded telephone and email support hours to 24×7.
At the end of the spring 2014 semester, UFIT introduced the OneDrive @ UF cloud storage for faculty and staff. Over the summer, this offering was expanded to include up to 1TB of cloud storage, which gives every faculty and staff member plenty of storage to create, store and share data with colleagues and friends.
