A New Look for a New Year

There have been several major changes that have happened since last Fall’s issue.

In the IT world, Windows 10 is now ready for deployment within our college, Office 2016 for Windows has been released, and this is the last semester that courses will be taught in Sakai.

Another change that has happened is that in November, the University of Florida launched a brand new website with a modernized look and feel. CLAS IT is in the process of revising and updating the content of the CLAS IT website to align with the new campus theme, and we have begun with this issue of our newsletter.

In this issue we bring you news and information on upcoming IT changes at UF, new campus policies, better strategies for backing up your data, and more.

I hope you find the content useful, and as always, if you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to drop me a note.

My best,

Ken
