Office 2016 for the Mac is Available for Download

Last month as part of their Office 365 ProPlus Free Downloads, Microsoft released Office 2016 for the Mac. It is currently available for download for all UF faculty and staff from the GatorCloud page.

The new version includes updated versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Some of the highlights of the new office suite include seamless integration with OneDrive, so you can store your documents in the campus “GatorCloud” storage, and the Outlook client is fully feature compatible with the current Windows version of Outlook and has a similar look and feel to the Web client. I have been using Office 2016 update for the past two weeks, and I have been impressed with the update.

In order to download and install Office 2016 you must be running OS-X Yosemite (10.10), but that is a free upgrade from Apple.
