Microsoft Teams is now available to the UF community. It is a simple way to collaborate with other people, including those from outside of UF. It combines instant messaging, a place for the team to store and work on files, an email account, video services, OneNote notebook, and other Apps that can be added as needed.
Teams can be used to work with students in a classroom setting. This presentation gives an overview of how the school of engineering at the University of New South Wales is using Teams to enhance the experience of their students.
IFAS has put together a site with a tutorial that gives you an idea of how they use Teams to collaborate with their extension offices throughout Florida. You can view their site at https://uflorida.sharepoint.com/sites/ifas-it/SitePages/Microsoft-Teams.aspx.
Microsoft Teams is a great collaboration tool and is available to all UF. Please contact CLAS IT for assistance in getting started with it.
