As we roll out Windows 10, the need to reboot your computer at least once a week becomes more important. Microsoft upgrades their core Windows operating system now on a regular basis very much like Apple has been doing. Windows computers must be rebooted in order for those updates to occur. Upgrades are pushed out by CLAS IT on Fridays and while in most cases are performed relatively quickly, there are instances where it may take longer. We would request that you reboot your computer every Friday when you leave for the weekend and leave it at the login prompt, this will allow the technical team at CLAS-IT to keep your systems up-to-date and working at peak efficiency.
