Are you tired of fighting with HTML or Dreamweaver just to update your CV, or to make a change to your web pages? If so, CLAS IT has a solution for you.
In Fall 2013, CLAS IT rolled out the “people.clas.ufl.edu” platform for faculty and staff. Each “people” site will have a quickly identifiable URL that will include “people.clas.ufl.edu” followed by a forward slash and your Gatorlink user name.
The people.clas platform, based on WordPress, provides an easy-to-navigate environment for maintaining and updating your web pages. You can edit in your favorite web browser, which means you will not need any custom software to update your site. The standard UF theme, which is the default, is both mobile- and user-friendly and empowers you to focus on the content within your web page and not worry about the formatting of pages. All faculty and staff members in CLAS are eligible for their very own people site.
