Some of you may have noticed Skype for Business where Lync should be. Microsoft has decided to change Lync into Skype for Business and we are currently in the middle of that transition.
Currently, if you sign into Skype for Business with your usual UF credentials, you will notice a pop-up box that will revert Skype for Business into Lync.
Click ‘Restart now’ to close Skype for Business and open Lync. You will still see the Skype icon at the bottom but this can be disregarded.
In the future, we will make a full transition to Skype for Business and that change will be permanent.
