IT Alerts: IT Service Outage, 9/20

UF experienced a widespread outage for IT services on Saturday. GatorLink mail and other services were affected.

Updated 9/22/2014: The final GatorLink mail/Webmail server has been recovered & restored to production service.

9/22/2014: Services that were impacted by the outage included GatorLink Mail, external mail into UF Exchange, MediaSite video, Library pages, UF Apps, UF Directory Lookup, Lync, database hosting, IIS hosting, and software eligibility. Updates are being posted to http://alerts.it.ufl.edu/ .

CLAS websites hosted on department web drives were unavailable on Saturday from 3pm to 6pm before service could be restored. Access to home drives for Statistics users was restored at 12pm on Sunday. Anyone experiencing problems with these services should contact CLAS IT.
