The new tools are part of the IBM Endpoint Management system and we have deployed the software to over 1500 CLAS-managed workstations as part of the UF Endpoint Management program. A recent Microsoft patch to Windows 8.1 is causing compatibility issues with the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. A workaround is available which restores full use of the client for Windows 8.1 users. OWA users using Safari may have had complaints of messages they’ve sent taking a long time to open. This is due to a bug with the fonts used in OWA for Safari in the messages.
UFIT is looking into reports of Office 365 email users reporting problems accessing their mailboxes. This problem seems to be affecting only some UF Office 365 email users; others remain unaffected. UFIT is working with Microsoft to correct this issue. View the Alert
