CLAS and the Neverending Software Updates

Updates appear to be a never-ending thing.  It seems that every time you sit down to work, Windows will prompt you to reboot for updates, or you’ll get a prompt to close your browser because there’s an update available.

Office 2016 for the Mac is Available for Download

Last month as part of their Office 365 ProPlus Free Downloads, Microsoft released Office 2016 for the Mac. It is currently available for download for all UF faculty and staff from the GatorCloud page.

UFApps Gives Students The Tools They Need

UFIT has assumed the costs associated with the UF Apps Pilot Project and made it a permanent service offering. Every student at the university has access to a suite of applications including Office, ArcGIS, MiniTab, SPSS and Stata.
